Program Overview

TWO PROGRAMS

In today's society, human economic activities are responsible for causing various social and environmental issues. While the SDGs provide a framework for building a more equal and equitable future for all, they should not be viewed as the ultimate goal. In reality, the SDGs are a stepping stone towards creating a sustainable future for future generations.

Operation Green was created by Earth Company as an initial or intermediate step towards achieving a "regenerative society" – a society that minimizes negative environmental and social impact – and a "circular economy" – one in which economic activities improve the well-being of both people and the environment.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

FOR SCHOOLS

Learning by practice,
Project-based learning

Operation Green for Schools is an educational program that instills the will to “realize sustainability at school” among students through hands-on, practical lessons.

By studying real-world examples, from Japan and abroad, students learn the importance of sustainability and how they can make a difference in their own schools. Following the process of “plan, do, check, and act” (PDCA), students develop the ability to personalize their approach, think critically, and take action towards sustainability.

FOR COMPANIES
